SOUL FULL the band
Once upon a time (before the pandemic) there was a Toronto band,
the ‘Mudd Cats’, playing mostly the blues. That gave way to ‘Levi and
the BLU-Rayz’ who were quickly established as a premier R&B outffit. The pandemic temporarily stopped live music so the BLU-Rayz began a series of networked recordings and then made the player changes, that resulted in
this new and exciting adventure.
Rob Reedijk - Bass.
Has played with numerous bands in Toronto and Montreal, as a bass player, guitarist, and singer. Has created music for film and TV, and
has engineered and produced a number of artists, in various genres, including Jazz, Soul, R&B, Rock and Classical. His wide experience
helps to keep us always on track.
John Fletcher - Guitar.
He’s played in; country, rock, rockabilly, R&B, big band Jazz, latin & funk bands for the last 40 years, around the GTA. He has backed up the Jordinairs and the Sweet Inspirations (back up singers to Elvis). He was musical director for
the Collingwood Elvis festival for many years.
He is the last piece in our puzzle to bring you authentic R&B music.
Levi Concious - Singer
Reggae Classic Soul/R&B performer, known for original Reggae songs produced at Slamm Studio with talented collaborators. From "Afterglow Live Life" to "King of Kings" with Selassie I Power Band, Levi's musical journey, includes Canadian Reggae Award nominations & spans decades. Jazz blues trio, 'Levi and the Blu-Rayz', was a soulful blend of influences. Connect with Levi Conscious on various platforms and catch her live performances at well known local venues.
Bruce Moffet - Drums
‘Canadian Music Royalty’.
He has played live with Cory Hart, Prairie Oyster,
Morgan Davis, Mary Margret Ohara (Go Deo Chorus)
Colin Linden, Tom Cochrane and Red Ryder,
Alana Myles, A is A, Sas Jordan, Brian Greenway and
many others. His brother Gary, is the lead guitarist
for April Wine.
Dave Fowler - Piano & Organ.
A veteran of dozens of Canadian bands, both in Montreal and Toronto, Dave toured for 25 years with Sattalites Reggae band (on synthesizers) and won two Junos during that time. He has
worked as a synth programner, a Jazz
pianist and a recording artist on dozens
of other artists recordings.
